THE MOOSE LEGION COMMITTEE

lodge 1741 moose legion committee meets on the second tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm.  at our meetings we plan and discuss our lodges needs and decide on a course of action to enable us to help the lodge.  we have also designed and produced a moose legion orientation that we present to prospective moose legionnaires before each celebration.

Our current project is to build a covered patio at the rear of our lodge social hall..  we are presently forming the slab and, once that is poured, we will begin fundraising for the roof. 

the moose legion committee also donated $400 toward the equipment in our "tiki bar".  we built the portico on the front of the building.  We also donate to most major lodge projects.

the degree of service is the next step to the higher degrees of fellowship and pilgrim.  The moose legion bands like minded people to effect change and progress in our lodge.

June 26, 2011 Orange Blossom Moose Legion 125 held it�s Summer Celebration at North Hillsboro 1741 in Tampa, FL. Eight dozen Tommy Moose (pictured) were donated to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue by OBML 125, N. Hillsboro 1741, Brandon 1880, N. Hillsboro Chapter 1763, MLC 1741 and Moose Riders 1741. Representatives of Engine 38 accepted the donation, including Battalion Chief Russell Macaluso whose father Andy is a member of LOOM 1741 and OBML 125. A united effort by all branches of our Fraternity resulted in this generous donation.
